Recordings: Preparing for and Responding to Funding Challenges

Since the announcement of a federal funding “freeze,” program and organizational leaders have had to engage in very difficult conversations regarding threatened and actual cuts to funding for immigration legal services and the real impact cuts have on their sustainability. This two-part recorded webinar series will provide information to help organizational leadership navigate during these uncertain times. Presenters will discuss actionable steps programs can take to weather these challenges and make informed decisions that will be in the best interest of the immigration legal services program and its clients.

CLINIC on-line trainings are open to the staff and volunteers of CLINIC affiliates, any other nonprofit agency, and private attorneys and their staff. Independent non-attorney legal workers are not eligible to register for CLINIC trainings. This second webinar of the series is for programs that may be unable to sustain current staffing levels. Organizational leadership must consider risks and responsibilities that impact downsizing and/or closure, and management of communication should be top of mind, both internally and externally.
